Loss of Libido

🪷 LOSS OF LIBIDO THROUGH THE MENOPAUSE

Low libido during menopause is very common, but can impact in your relationship. Menopausal and postmenopausal women may notice that they're not as easily aroused and this is due to the decrease in Oestrogen and Testosterone, this can lead to less interest in sex but that doesn’t mean you and your partner can’t maintain a closeness and maybe even improve how intimate you are!

Here’s the first of my top tips on how to increase and improve intimacy in your relationship!!

  • Increase intimacy; take a bath together, give each other a massage, be playful together

  • Cuddle more; skin to skin contact is vital for maintaining a connection

  • Go back to your teens; kiss….lots! Not just a peck, but passionate, long slow kisses and indulge in those moments

  • Tell each other your desires; by sharing your intimate feelings and longings, you continue to build intimate connections with your partner

  • Use shop bought lubricants and use as part of your foreplay

  • HRT can also help improve your sex drive

A few facts:

A recent study of 8,000 women aged 18 to 49 that exercised 3 times per week (the minimum amount of our group sessions we recommend!!) found......

> 40% were more greatly aroused with less effort 😉 saucy!!

> 31% had sex more often than their non exercising mates

> 25% find it easier to 'POP' 😉

Working out, increases sex drive, as it sparks off a chain of physical, mental and emotional reactions in the body, all of which are the primal responses and the primary elements for increased libido.

These include:

> increasing levels of the primal  'his' and 'hers' hormones

> emitting pheromones (your bespoke fragrance created especially for you by mother nature)

> stimulating the nervous system

> unleashing your primal instincts

> improving confidence levels & self esteem

> increasing heart rate

> flooding the body with super charged happy endorphins

> electrifying all the nerve endings

> increasing body temperature and blood flow

And much more!
